Day 1 – Nairobi → Tsavo East National Park
Depart Nairobi early, heading southeast along the Mombasa Highway toward Tsavo East National Park (approx. 5 hours).
Known for its vast landscapes and red elephants, Tsavo East is one of Kenya’s oldest and largest parks.
Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and herds of elephants dusted in crimson-red soil.
After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
