4-Day Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru Group Shared Safari

A Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru safari package with Tropical Wild Expeditions is a dream come true for any traveler. Masai Mara is famous all over the world for its annual wildebeest migration. Lake Nakuru National Park, on the other hand, offers quite a unique experience. The park is home to many black and white rhinos, both endangered species. During your tour, you will also encounter lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes.

After breakfast in your hotel in Nairobi, you will be picked up by your professional guide and depart the Nairobi region for the Masai Mara. You will drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the viewpoint, where you can take photos with a beautiful view of the valley. Then, you will proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch.

This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains, famous for its spectacular great wildebeest migration. It is also home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino). Proceed for an evening game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver-guide. Dinner and overnight will be at the tented camp.

After breakfast, you will depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game viewing in the Masai Mara National Reserve. A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya. There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife, including the Big Five, and a rich cultural heritage to explore. Kenya’s Masai Mara is undoubtedly one of the most incredible safari destinations in Africa.

Between July and October, the great migration gets busy. Millions of zebra and wildebeest cross the Masai Mara in search of new grazing territory. A veritable horde of predators come in their wake, including lions and leopards. Our guide will ensure that you get the best photographic opportunities and enrich you with the amazing cultural practices of the local communities of the Maasai people. Dinner and overnight will be at the tented camp.

You will have an early breakfast at 6:30 am and commence the drive to Nakuru. Say goodbye to your newfound friends, capture the last photos at the camp for sweet memories, and then depart for Lake Nakuru. You will arrive late afternoon for dinner and overnight at the chosen camp or lodge.

After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific birdlife, including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino, while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline.

Later, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at the airport or hotel.
